K6 TELEPHONE BOX
Ideal for medium public use. This telephone box is refurbished to the same standard as the original K6 telephone box used by BT. Recommended for private or low to medium-traffic public use. Refurbished and including new replacement parts. Metal internal glazing frames for greater glass security. Wooden telephone mounting panel. New wooden doorframe. Fitted interior light and electric board (only for those sold in the UK). White-painted ceiling (increased illumination).
The K6 telephone box is sandblasted down to the bare metal, de-greased and sprayed with two undercoats and two additional coats of genuine Post Office red paint. A new wooden and cast iron door is manufactured and fitted onto the telephone box. Further treatment is applied for any customisation that is required. MVM is able to supply a basic K6 telephone box, or to fit out a K6 telephone box to its original form - complete with Bakelite phone and press button A or B mechanism in place upon request
